How to Set Up the Xero Extension
- Access the Xero Developer Portal: https://developer.xero.com/app/manage/
- Navigate to the My App page and click on the “New App” button.
- Fill out your app information by following the example in the screenshot below.
- Navigate to the Webhooks page using the menu. Apply the settings as displayed in the screenshot and save your changes.
- Access the Configuration page from the menu and adhere to the instructions provided in the screenshot below.
- Copy your Client ID and Client Secret keys.
- Navigate to the Xero API page in your MagicAI Dashboard under API Integration. Follow the steps shown in the screenshot below.
Note 1: You will be redirected to the Xero page and asked for access after clicking the “Connect to Xero” button; you must allow access.
Note 2: Clicking “Create Xero Contacts” will sync all existing site users to Xero. Depending on the number of users, this may take some time. If you encounter any errors, please wait 5 minutes and retry by clicking the “Create Xero Contacts” button again.
